whitish specks - 2008/03/24 22:23 Several days ago I noticed tiny whitish specks throughout my bin.Two weeks ago I added shredded newpaper and brown paper bags(my bedding is peat moss)Could they be the materials decomposing?I see the shredded bags also get quite stringy.I hope they arent some kind of bug eggs.I did go on the worm bin group and look at pics there. It seemed almost everyone had what I'm seeing in my bin.Last week I began seeing cocoons!!My worms are now of a good size and my bin seems quite active.
thanks Chana
PS how do you all get those emoticons on your post?
