what am I doing wrong - 2008/03/28 09:32
My sons sold enough lemon aid last year to buy a pound of ENs. They were to be bait size for fishing. When they arrived they were thin and small. We were disappointed but the vendor said it will take time to fatten them up. So we have been taking care of them for a year. Used them for composting and science fairs. They are reproducing but they aren't getting any longer than a red worm. I've seen pictures of red worms next to ENs and noticed the difference in size. Last night I measured the longest one in the bin. It measured 2 inches. My sons wanted to sell the worms and use them for fishing but after a year of saying "they aren't ready yet" they are losing interest. Is there a way I can tell the difference between a red worm and EN?
Sorry for the long post. Rob
