Lethargic ENCs - 2008/04/10 12:16 We have noticed that our ENCs are lethargic. So I was hoping someone might have some ideas as to why. We are raising them for composting as well as for fishing bait. Our bins are approx. 12' long x 2' wide and 1-1/2 deep. We have dirt in the bottom. Somewhere we read that they need actual dirt to clean themselves. Figured it wouldn't hurt them. The rest is some peat moss and cow manure. We also feed wheat bran, crushed corn, silage and some old hay and straw. They seem to be growing and multiplying fine. They just seem to be inactive.

If anyone has any ideas we would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks
