Re:Temperature - 2008/04/28 07:25 Here are some ideas on cooling but first the 75 degrees would be the inside bin temp.

Here are some suggestions.
1) Dig the pit below the "frost line" the temp at that depth stays some what constant.

2) If using a bin place it in the shade all day long and mist during really hot days.

3) I saw on one web site where the person pumped water using pvc through the bin then below the ground and back.
