I've had my worms for two days now (1 lb of worms in a 1og plastic storage bin) and each morning when I get up, 8-10 worms have escaped from the bin around the top and through the air holes on top of the lid (1/4" holes). I picked them up and put them back in the bin. The bin seems ok to me...moist, but not soggy. I've not fed them any scraps yet...just shredded newspaper bedding and a couple handfuls of leaves. Is it normal for several to want to roam outside of the bin? I would appreciate your advice.
