Compost Tea - 2008/05/10 08:06 I made my first batch of compost tea a few days ago with some plans I got off of here, thanks by the way. We have some rosemary growing and it had powdery mildew on it, so we got out the Organic Gardening Bible and it suggested spraying compost tea on the leaves. Three applications and the problem was gone. Pretty darn cool!!! I recently purchased a vertical hydroponic growing system that came with coir so I tried that as bedding for my worms. They seem to LOVE it. The stuff holds moisture very well AND it's a renewable resource. I know most of you will say why pay for bedding but I have to purchase it anyway for my system so.... Peace and Happy Worming!!!
